Point Cloud: A point cloud is a collection of data points defined by a given coordinates system. Point clouds are used to create 3D meshes and other models used in 3D modeling for various fields including architecture, 3D printing, manufacturing, 3D gaming and various virtual reality (VR) applications.
We capture and register multiple point clouds together so we can use a single point cloud of a building or space. We use LiDAR and photogrammetry to capture as-built structures. Accurate laser data reduces change orders and accelerates the entire development process. We help you use the point cloud for discussions on permitting, stormwater management, parking and slopes.
Point clouds can be imported to Autodesk products or Revit as a reference file so you can start measuring and modeling on reality. This coordinated point cloud can be combined with UAVs for accurate photogrammetry and ground control points.
- FILE TYPE: e57, PTS, PTX, PTG, LAS, RCS, RCP
- IMPORT TO: CAD, REVIT, BENTLEY, Navisworks, Civil 3D and many Autodesk products
- Point Cloud Measuring Tools
- Topographical Mapping and GIS Coordination
- Clash Detection per request
- Thermal Analysis per request
Need help with “REGISTRATION”? Registration is the process of putting multiple point clouds together so you can have a single file a building, site map or space. Dropbox us your raw data and we can take care of the rest.
